Sight and Touch together. How many sensations do you want to experience while coloring? You can feel at least four different ones with Toy Color Multisensory Tempera . Now available in a school-sized pack with 4 jars of 150 ml each. In four bright shades: blue, red, yellow and green.
The new Toy Color multisensory tempera provides 4 different types of tactile sensation : once the color has been spread with the brush and left to dry, the child will be able to appreciate both with the eyes and with the fingers the different surfaces, one for each color, in a crescendo of extremely stimulating sensations! The colors can be mixed but the specificity of each of them will be lost.
The multisensory tempera has a different grain in each color package and spreading it allows you to experience touch in a new way. This product is also super washable and titanium-free! From a Montessori perspective, this ready-made tempera offers a visual and tactile surprise: once dry, the child will be able to "feel" the painted surface with their fingers. This offers the possibility of playing with touch, preparing for example letters, numbers and geometric shapes that the child can study with their fingers, perhaps trying to guess. The same activity can also be done in the "dark", blindfolding the child who will have to guess, using touch, the figures drawn on a sheet of paper. The wide-opening jars offer easy access to the color. The different shades can be mixed together.
The advantages of using tempera? Painting, like drawing, are tools for emotional communication and child development. Tempera paint is resistant to light, and takes on different effects such as transparent or opaque depending on the amount of water used to paint. By adding water, you can work on the areas already painted again.
Another little curiosity? Do you know what tempera painting means? Its name comes from the Latin "temperare" meaning to mix. Tempera painting is the oldest in the world. It has its origins in the art of ancient civilizations. In Europe it reached a predominant role only in the Middle Ages.
What can you paint with tempera? This product adheres without problems to almost all types of paper, cardboard and cardboard, wood, terracotta. In itself, therefore, you can paint practically anywhere with tempera.
